How your score is calculated
ScoreMySaaS turns ten answers into a 0–100 score using a fixed methodology. The same answers always produce the same score, because the number comes from explicit rules rather than a language model improvising a verdict. AI is used only to read your answers and, for the paid report, to run live market research.
On this scale, 80 and above is a GO, 40–79 is a CAUTION and below 40 is a NO-GO. Six automatic red flags — no paying alternatives, an entrenched platform monopoly, benefit below price, rare usage, a pain never verified with real people, and a build this team cannot realistically ship — can cut the score on their own.
